Our Centre

The Kalgoorlie Occasional Child Care Centre is a not-for-profit, community-based centre. Our Approved Provider consists of a long-standing Parent Committee.

With 35 places available each day, we offer a close-knit, nurturing environment where Educators form strong bonds with families to ensure each child is supported and valued. We follow a play-based approach, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), where children are encouraged to learn and grow at their own pace.

Our unique booking system allows families to secure care on the days they need, without the commitment of a full-time placement.

Our Booking System

As an Occasional Service, bookings for our Multi-Age Room are taken one week in advance and are managed on a first-come, first-served basis. Families are welcome to request as many sessions as required, subject to availability.

We offer flexible cancellations, with no charge for bookings cancelled at least 48 hours in advance (by 9:00am, two business days prior to the session). If a requested session is at maximum capacity, your child will be placed on our waitlist, and we will contact you promptly should a place become available.

3UPs positions are permanent, and additional sessions in this room cannot be accommodated. However, 3UPs families are also welcome to utilise our Multi-Age Room bookings.

Morning Session

8:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Perfect for families who need morning care while running errands or attending appointments.

Afternoon Session

12:30 PM - 5:15 PM

Ideal for afternoon care needs, allowing children to participate in structured activities.

Full Day Session

8:00 AM - 5:15 PM

Complete day care for families who need extended hours of care.
